Applying our 30+ years of skateboarding experience and our chemistry/material science background, we create 2-D meta-material structures designed to enhance the performance and longevity of skateboard bearings. A world’s first for skateboard bearings! Our bearings utilize our design which incorporates considerations for our MECNC (Matrix Enhanced Ceramic Nano-Composites) and our coating processes. We only leverage materials that we have used in our professional lives. From the selection of the carbon steel used, to the high-mechanical strength retainers, to all of the materials used in our ceramic formulations. We know what they are, their properties, how they perform. With support from our manufacturing partners, we bring all of this under one roof at our lab in the UNC Charlotte Material Science Center. An actual lab in the USA dedicated to helping improve skateboard bearing performance…yeah, dope!

MECNC - Matrix Enhanced Ceramic Nano-Composites
- Enhances the performance of the ceramics used in our bearings. This results in a more durable, faster, smoother performing bearing.
- Take away - provides mechanical strength to metal and ceramic components so they can take a hit and keep rolling with speed.
DMx(TM) - Diamond Matrix Technology
- Converts metal surfaces to ultra-smooth diamond hard surfaces
- Substantially reduces the friction in the bearing to almost negligible.
- Highest level of scratch and corrosion resistance of any metal hybrid bearing on the market
- Works with lubricant to reduce the need for lube compression and enables fast right out of the box performance.
- Enables you to run bearings dry.

- Creates a barrier of protection on your bearing.
- Substantially reduces the friction in the bearing to almost negligible.

Mechanical Components
- Tolerances designed to support any skate environment including street/park/ramp as well as fast cruising for longboards.
- High strength retainer/cages for max impact and a smooth ride.
- Shields with micro-ring that allows for easy lubrication while bearing is in wheel and on-axle.
